Cancellation Policy and Other Terms

By engaging Proactive Maintenance Services ("Company") for residential snow removal services, the client ("Client") agrees to the following terms: The Company will remove snow from driveways, walkways, and sidewalks and apply ice-melting agents where needed. Services will be provided within 24 hours of snowfall exceeding 2 inches, barring severe weather or emergencies. Clients are responsible for ensuring access to the property and keeping areas clear of obstacles. Special instructions or potential hazards must be communicated to the Company. Pricing for snow removal services is [price] per visit/month/season, with payment due upon receipt of the invoice. The Company is not liable for delays caused by weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable precautions will be taken to prevent damage, but the Company is not responsible for damages caused by hidden obstacles, pre-existing conditions, or the application of de-icing agents. Liability for slips or falls before or after services is excluded. Either party may terminate the agreement with 24 hours’ notice, though the Company reserves the right to terminate immediately due to non-payment, unreasonable demands, or unsafe conditions. The Company is not responsible for delays due to force majeure events such as acts of God, severe weather, or labor disputes. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Alberta law. Price is per snowfall and multiple snow falls will be charged as such. Also, our service does not include any chipping or chiseling of compacted snow or ice.
