Cancellation Policy and Other Terms

Terms and Conditions: By booking our winter home watch services, you agree to the following terms. Our services include periodic property checks, basic maintenance, and snow removal (if applicable) for homes while the homeowner is away for an extended period. We are not responsible for damages caused by events outside our control (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, break-ins) that occur between scheduled visits or are undiscovered during our routine checks. Customers must provide clear instructions regarding any specific areas of concern or maintenance tasks they wish to be monitored. Snow removal covers driveways, walkways, and other specified areas but does not include de-icing or salting unless arranged in advance. We are not liable for pre-existing issues or damage uncovered during visits, including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, or structural problems. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure we have safe and easy access to the property and to disclose any security systems or special requirements for entry. We hold liability insurance, but customers should verify their own homeowners' insurance for additional coverage. A cancellation fee may apply if the service is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled start date. These terms are governed by Alberta law. Please ensure the areas where we will be working are clear of PET FECAL MATTER a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged if any is found on the equipment or employees.
